The Nobu Ryokan Malibu is a complete transformation of a much-loved former boutique hotel, located directly on the beach in Malibu. The project preserved the intimate character of the original property while creating a refined Japanese-inspired retreat, with natural materials, warm timber and understated finishes. The design focuses on simplicity, tranquillity and a strong connection to the surrounding coastal landscape.
